We think, decide and act together!

Dear All,

We JNVK alumni are organizing medical camp for flood affected areas in various places of our district Katihar. Our coordinators right from the first batch to the recent batch are involved in this team work. The end to end workflow goes from planning to implementing the programs to fulfill our core objective. However we do keep analysing and evaluating ourselves from time to time in order to improve our team spirit and efficiency.

We work as team  where entire JNVK family is involved in playing an important role in this worst situation. The food packaging is being done by our lovely students under the guidance of our teachers at JNVK campus as advised by DM sir.

Medicines are being donated by our own alumni, Amit Chaudhary bhaiya, Abhinav bhaiya, and Alok bhaiya who are also coordinating with people who can make things possible at ground level. We have received medicines for upcoming 10 camps. We are playing double entry role under the guidance of our BigB Dr. Rahul Bhaiya who is guiding us from Singapore.

Our brothers and sisters on the ground who make things happen positively are to be appreciated more than anything else because it would not have been possible without them. The coordination between us enables smoother movement towards our target. We are trying to cover all the  flood affected areas and its going on well, kudos to our heroes Reza Bhaiya and Ranjeet bhaiya. Seeing us, other organizations have also come to conduct medical camps in the same area the next day. Cahuki, kadwa block is one of the example of it, where more than 250 people turned up in a day. Samaili is another example of it.

Donations and Funds part is being taken care of by Rajkishor and others. All our recent batch coordinators are spreading the message in social media so that we can get donation from all the corners.

Let’s sing together to show up that Hami Navoday Hon… !

Get-Together at JNV Katihar!

Dear Navodayans,

We are going to organize a Get Together @JNVKatihar, Bihar on 23rd, 24th and 25th in the month of December 2017. This is decided after having the discussion with DM of Ktaihar.

Most important, this is exclusively for JNVK Alumni. As we all know that navodayans are studying/working/living from various places of India. By hosting this meet at our lovely campus, our aim will be twofold: First, to know each other and propose for future plan through our mutual discussion. Secondly, to make this event a memorable event via our interaction as we know for the development of any action, interaction is very important.

It will be a meet for three days. We will publish the objectives of this meet soon. The chief guests and guests, who are going to interact and motivate the alumni, will not be a surprise this time. All the JNVK alumni are invited for this meeting. Think, Decide and kindly confirm your availability so that we can PROCEED accordingly. We want to know roughly how many of alumni will gather for the event so that we can make better arrangements.

Dear friends, we can’t return what navodaya has given us but at least we can try to give back to the society as much as possible by participating in this event. Our little effort can shape the future of those growing navodayans. We request everybody to please feel free to put your ideas/views in order to make this event memorable and successful and also to carry forward the torch of responsible JNV alumni and students.

For any further query or assistance, please feel free to write us on: jnv.ainaa@gmail.com

Or you may kindly call any one of us:

Please donate to help Narsimha!

Dear Friends and Well-wishers,

Our brother Narsimha, a fellow navodayan from JNV Medak (1991-98), met with tragic accident two years ago which resulted in amputating his leg and infection in kidneys, lungs and spinal cord. He is from poor, agriculture dependent family and is father of three kids. His brother died recently in an another unfortunate incident who was the sole earner and financial supporter of his family.

From past one year we have been supporting him in every possible manner. He is under going treatment at NIMS Hospital, Hyderabad, Telangana. We spoke with some doctors in our local alumni circle and arranged few necessary operations. He has undergone lungs and kidneys surgery recently and slowly recovering but spinal cord infection yet to be operated. His expenses outpaced our small donor limit and so here we have come to seek your help.

Navodaya gave us life as well as a big family which we are proud of. We are the family he got and together we shall help our family member. He needs our support in these dreadful moments and is counting on us. We are aiming to raise an amount of 5 lakhs to meet his treatment costs, artificial limb and to stabilize his family. Dear Friends and Well-wishers,

Our brothers and sisters at Delhi can also donate blood to him. His blood group is A+. Those who are in NCR/Delhi and willing to donate blood to Suresh, kindly contact us. We will be grateful to them.

At the same time, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have been supporting this cause : help suresh to fight cancer

With the grace of almighty he has now been admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi and doctors are proposing yet another cycle of chemotherapy followed by Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT). The BMT is the last resort to save life of Suresh suffering from this serious hematological illness.

HELP Appeal, please donate to save a life!

Dear Friends,

The mother of an alumnus from our JNV Katihar, Vikram, is seriously ill and under treatment at Patna. Somehow he managed the money but he needs around Rs. 70,000 as help for treatment. He has to pay this much of amount by 06 November 2016. I will request you to kindly donate generously for her treatment. It’s not a large amount, and we can arrange for it as we have done in the past. Vikram has been meeting some tragic incidents too during the treatment of his mother. Make a difference, Please donate!

Dear All,

I would like to mention about one of our brothers named Rupesh Kumar from J.N.V Katihar of 2008-2015 batch. The economic background of Rupesh is not good. His elder brother (whose monthly income is about 5.5 Thousand) has been the only source of income to his family, and most of his income was dedicated to Rupesh’s study (about 4 Thousand per month). Very unfortunately, Rupesh’s brother met with a major accident in which his head was badly damaged and thigh fractured. He is currently admitted in PARAMOUNT Hospital PVT, Siliguri. A Major operation has been done and still the treatment is continuing, while he is still unconscious. The expenditure per day at the hospital is about 30 thousand rupees, and until now huge money has been spent. So it is not possible to save a family from this worst situation without our economic support. To help, we on behalf of JNVAlumni, would like to request you to please come forward and help the family financially as much as you can. We all would be very much grateful for this kind act.

Please find below the recent update on the donation. We truly appreciate your support!

JNV Alumni…!! Let’s join hands again…

Dear All,

As many of you know that Sopan’s Cancer treatment is going on and he recently got shifted to Mahaveer Cancer Sansthan, Patna from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. With a heavy heart we regret to inform you that his condition is not good. Today when I talked to Sopan, I felt that he has lost his hopes. It isn’t the cancer that caught him; it is the pain which he is going through. If money had only been the concern, it would have been taken care of, but if the concern lies in the lost hopes, it’s hard  to revive.

Till now your financial support helped him keep his hope alive. The amount donated by you in the first two phases (from March-May and June-August) will last for few more days. Below is the summary details of the transactions and the further details of the money spent by Sopan till date.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Donation Details of two phase

Request you all to come forward again to rekindle his hopes to fight back. This time we would request you all not only to donate money, but write him a message as well to help him regain his strength. We will send all your messages to him by any mode of communication (E-mail, post …etc.) and money will be transferred as done earlier. At this point in time somehow this quote came as a flash to my mind –

“By what you get, you make a living; what you give, however, makes a life.” ― Arthur Asche

Doing nothing for others is the undoing of ourselves!

Hi Everyone,

A heart-felt thank you to all of you for your kind support and contribution. This brings us back to thanking you all, once again, for the support you have already given us for Sopan. We truly appreciate your support!

Furthermore, Some of you have concerns about the usage of money, whether it is used for the same cause as mentioned. We would like to assure you that the money is not used for any other cause, this is going to Sopan’s account as per his requirement. This has already been discussed with Sopan that we would attach the scanned copy of his bills for your reference. As of now he is undergoing  treatment, the moment he gets some time from it, he would provide us the scanned copies of his treatment bills. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Additionally, please find below the recent update on the second wave of donation.

Donations Received for Sopan in 2nd phase

Below is the summary details of the transaction.

Total Contribution in 2nd phase

I am sure we will soon reach the second wave of target to save a precious life. Hope to see more such support from all of you. I cannot say whether your efforts will be paid back by the almighty in the same way, but I am sure of one thing, it will never go in vain, and double the favor will be done by him for this act of humanity.

The contribution made by you all is Rs 65,030 for his cancer treatment till now. Last contribution was received on 13th May’13. To present complete details, we have mentioned the donors’ name as well after seeking the permission from the donors.

And the money we have transferred to him for his treatment Rs 57,530, till last week. Below is the summary details of the transaction:

Friends! Unexpectedness is a superpower. Cancer cannot take away hope and we must never lose our hope. As our hope is well-founded in our faith that we believe with all our hearts! We need to come together again with all our prayers and his blessings for more contributions to make Sopan’s journey of life longer. As you all know that we are trying to save a life, which is in the grave clutches of cancer, this would be a great contribution from our side to humanity. If we can save one life by contributing a meager amount of money, nothing would be like that. By doing this, time will fill us in million folds.

donations help

Let’s hold each other’s hands to show generosity by contributing as per our capacity. No matter how big or small, donations are what enable us to save lives.

Also if you can involve people other than yourself, it would be a great help…
