We are planning to organize a GET-TOGETHER @ JNV Katihar in 2010. The Get – Together will have two days program.
The alumni are requested to come forward and Kindly let us know the appropriate Months and dates for GET-TOGETHER and your availability in these two days so that we can PROCEED accordingly.

ya i agree or just before winter vacation in month of nov. dec will also be a good option as its very hot weather now a days and a 2 day programme might be cumbersome anyway probably i will be available this time whatever month is decided

hi i m misbah from katihar , i think 1st week of june most of the alumni most of the alumni will be available at this time
both the time jun-july and nov-dec are very perfact in view of vacations.but all those who r working somewhere doesn’t have such vacations and they need to apply for holidays in their respective company in advance.this is already april and date declaration will take time,might be in may.so it may get difficult for employed alumnies to attend the programe in summer.besides there is the hot weather problem in these months and generaly Loo goes on.Though I cant confirm my participation then ever keeping in other factors and other alumni’s presence I will suggest the winter time to organise this Get-Together.even the time of durgapuja vacation can be considered as most working and studying student across India will have the holidays.

In my opinion…any festive time..say “Durga Pooja” or “CHHAT” could be an option,
because most of us, usually visits home during this season.
in last weak of dec jyadatar engg collg me chhuti nahi hoti hai…so winter me to secnd last weak of dec or its better btwn 6-10th july…
main manta hu ki july me garmi hogi par most of the prog to m.p hall me hi hoga na….aur abhi din bada karta hai to jyada time bhi milega aapas me milne ka…

waise durga puja ka bhi time sahi hai par shayad us time school me chutti rahti hai….
warna durga puja ka time best hai isi bahane kuch log katihar ka durga puja bhi dekh lenge jo kafi acche se manaya jata hai….
actually, i mnot going to suggest any date for be together…..i hav read the suggestions of all.
if we consider abt dates we will find that suitable date is jan-dec becoz every one has written according to his vaccation….they are not wrong….

i think 1st or 2nd weak of july will be better for get together bcoz most of us have a summer vacation that time so no body should have problem regarding this .no doubt these days will be hot but we all can adjust these things are not new for us .if we talk about nov.or dec i dont think every body will have vacation.but whatever date will be fixed i’ll try my level best to attend and also force my frnds to do same …

Wish you a very good morning and i m happy to know about this.This type of programme is held in all navodaya .By this we incourage the students of jnv to do something some special.And through this we meet with each other and share our lifes.
In jnv katihar this is held after june because all students were presents there and teachers also..

See, we can not make it in July because school opens in July. And also exclude the date from durga puja to till chath Puja.
Then we have Aug, September, Nov and December with us.
Now you people think upon these months.

I have already mentioned in my previous comment that The school will be closed in May, June and Puja time (DP, Diwali,chath) so exclude these months. Rest is fine.

It should not be in the month of July & September, because it is quite difficult to attened the get together for CA.
december month is very cold.time between diwali and chatth should get some consideration.school will be reopened.students will have fresh mind.working-non working will have vacation.and at last the weather is very fine then.
In any month from 12th to 26th

ya i have attened the past two get together as a student and looking to attend as a professtional
i would like to tell what i like that you will must like
. it is only time when you can have a bite and chat with friends with whom you have spent your best phase of life that is child hood . as you enter the ground it look just yesterday you had attended assembly in Grey uniform some where in the 3 or 4 row . then you realized it is way back .
(2) kids are so animated and hospitable you will have bundle of refreshing question which certainly not ur boss or colleague will ask u in office
(3)you can easyly trade yu few day leave to see the sea of changes in our school . it is much greener , more sophisticated and advanced
(4) each year it is growing like IPL . bigger in magnitude and better in quality and worthiness of event
(5)it is time to repay in penny to the institution from which have taken in billions
and many more
(6) you will get a chance to interact with those whom u knew for year but never talked because of many things
but
is it suitable time because it used to be in nov na
all together it is beautiful experience and i am looking for it if all things falls in the place .
is it only for katihar navoday ar all alumina of navoday
and hats off to all who are invovled in organising the event . i have got a chance to see personally how much some one like reva didi put effort and time in it total dedication like it is their professional obligation
